Loving Lanvin For H&M

I a big fan of Lanvin & head designer Alber Elbaz, unfortunately like a lot of Lanvin Lovers out there…I can only admire from a far! That was until H&M announced Lanvin as their next collaborative designer.
I am so excited to think that  a little Lanvin number could soon be hanging in my wardrobe & like half the world I have been patiently waiting to catch a glimpse of the new collection……Well it’s time, H&M have finally allowed us a sneak peek…..

I selected some of my favourite pieces…….

I absolutely love the Faux Fur Jacket & Vest, the vibrant Pink & Yellow dresses…..who says we can’t add a splash of colour during the festive season!
You can checkout the entire collection (here).  Now the only trouble is finding a spot in the huge queues on Nov 23rd!

Tips to beat the queues are welcome 😉

Baby It’s Cold Outside

While walking to work this early breezy morning it really did feel like winter is a coming…..temperatures are dropping & as each day passes we see less daylight but  I’ve decided to focus on the positives of Winter…Here’s what I came up with;

1. Skiing/Snowboarding & Skating fun
2. Drinking creamy hot chocolate topped with marshmallows
3. Christmas at home in Ireland with family & friends
4. Lot’s of festive parties
5. Wrapping up in warm winter clothes – what better than Faux Fur

Here are some of my fav picks

1. Dolce Vita Faux Fur Vest
2. Dorothy Perkins – Caramel Faux Fur Gilet
3. Ella Moss – Kennedy Faux Fur Vest
4. Miss Selfridge – Leopard Faux-Fur Trapper Hat
5. ModCloth – Cold Snap Mittens
6. Grace – Ribbon-Accent Faux Fur Hat

What are your Winter Positives?

Kate Moss – Collection for Topshop

Kate Moss is, was and forever will be one of my favourite Fashion Icons, I love her vintage boho style & looking through preview pics from her latest collection for Topshop she continues to WOW with her 1970s inspired pieces!

Jàdore….especially the cropped feathered jacket, shaggy hooded cardigan & fun fringe embroidery dress. Needless to say I’m counting down the days until it`s released on Nov 5th, which is in…….. 5 Days 10hrs 27mins & 14 secs as per the Topshop Countdown

Wardrobe Transition

High Waisted Shorts & Blouse – Zara, Shoes – Nine West, Bracelets – Aldo, Headband – Urban Outfitter, Ring – Forever 21

Following on from my post Sequins on Saturday – I decided it was time to do a Autumn/Fall clean up of my wardrobe. I wouldn’t class myself as a hoarder by any means but let’s just say I don’t part easily with my clothes! So as you can imagine I spent most of yesterday evening sorting through clothes, shoes, bags, belts & lots of other hidden items at the back of my closet….

I organised everything into 3 categories
1. Keepers
2. Charity
3. Summer clothes for storage

By the time I was finished my wardrobe was completely made-over! I’ve lots of free space for new pieces & I didn’t waste anytime hitting the shops……my fav finds are these high waisted shorts & 70’s style blouse from Zara
